There is a field,
a field of consciousness.
A mind-field.
At the centre of the field,
there is the living human body.
At the centre of the human body
the living human heart.
And the directions.
Always the directions.
No way to escape the directions
as there is no way to escape the body --
always a left & a right,
a forward & a behind
always an up & a down
& there's always movement,
walking, turning, running, bending,
& thus there is always duration,
always time, always the heart beat,
always a past & a future.
And things. There are a myriad of things
in the field & they are always
taken up in the music of the field.

1. East (yellow) & the rising sun.
Beginnings, optimism, light
& the stream of perceptions,
 
2. South (red) sensuality.
The fecundity of things.
Growth & desire.

3. West (blue) & the sinking sun.
The eyes of night.
The Blue Rider.
Shadows & darkness.

4. North (white) Clarity.
Objectivity & hardness.
Sometimes rage.

5. Downwards (black)
The underworld,
dreams & dream knowledge.

6. Upwards (white)
Revelation.
The language of the birds.
